Paste the numbers
A single column is fine. A whole sheet is also fine: we find the column that looks most like phone numbers and keep the rest for context.
Output format
Only numbers we could read are reformatted. A broken one is left exactly as you typed it so you can still recognise the row.
Nothing is uploaded
Every number is read and checked by your own browser. Nothing is sent to us, nothing is stored, and there is no account. Close the tab and it is gone.
How we classify
- Valid Indian mobile. Exactly ten digits starting 6, 7, 8 or 9, once +91, 91 and a leading 0 have been stripped.
- Landline. Ten or eleven digits with an STD code, that is a leading 0 followed by a two to four digit area code. Usable, but a WhatsApp message will not reach it. Where 0 plus ten digits could honestly be either, we call it a mobile, because in a student list that is what it almost always is.
- Too short or too long. Almost always a typo or two numbers typed into one cell.
- Not a number. Text where a number should be, including junk like "NA" or "No number".
- Empty. Nothing there at all, which is the most expensive kind.
