Our flagship service
Most institute websites are invisible to the people looking for them.
A parent in your city is searching for exactly what you teach, right now. If your site does not appear on Google, and if ChatGPT has never read it, that parent enrols somewhere else and you never learn the enquiry existed.
We build search presence for coaching classes, tutors and institutes: SEO, AEO and GEO, done on the same principles we used on our own institute's site.
- Tested on our own institute first
- Real numbers, including the flat ones
- No guaranteed rankings, ever
The four acronyms
Four names for one job: being found.
The jargon has multiplied because the places people look have multiplied. Here is what each one actually means.
SEO
Search Engine Optimisation. Being found on Google when someone searches. Still the largest single source of education enquiries, and still where most institute websites fail at the first step, because their pages are not even indexed.
AEO
Answer Engine Optimisation. Being the answer rather than a link to it: featured snippets, the box at the top, and voice results. A parent asking "what is the syllabus for class 10 Maths" wants the answer, not ten tabs to open.
GEO
Generative Engine Optimisation. Being cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews when they answer a question in your subject or your city. Citation is the new first page.
AIO
AI Optimisation. Your content being machine-readable in the first place, so a system can tell what you teach, which board, which class, and where you are, without having to guess from a hero image.
Why this matters for education specifically
Education is a research purchase. Nobody enrols a child on impulse. Parents and students spend weeks reading, comparing and asking, and that research increasingly starts with an AI assistant rather than a search box. They ask which board suits their child, which institute is strong in a subject, what a course actually covers.
An institute that is invisible to assistants loses the enquiry before it exists. There is no bounce, no missed call, no form abandoned halfway. The name simply never comes up. That is the failure mode we are addressing, and it is why we treat assistant visibility as core work rather than an add-on.
Search intent
Built for how parents and students actually search.
People do not search the way institutes describe themselves. They search by the thing they are worried about. These are the intents an education site has to serve.
By board
CBSE, ICSE, state boards, IB. The board is often the very first filter a parent applies.
By class
Class 9, class 10, class 12. Parents search the year their child is in, not your programme name.
By subject
Maths, Physics, Accounts. Usually the subject the child is struggling with, which makes the intent urgent.
By exam
Board exams and entrance exams. Deadline-driven, seasonal, and highly competitive.
By city and area
Where you teach, at the level of a locality rather than a state.
"Near me"
Someone on a phone, ready to visit or call. The highest intent search there is.
NRI and country
Indian families abroad looking for Indian-curriculum teaching in their own time zone.
Comparisons
"X vs Y" searches, where someone is deciding between two options and you should be one of them.
Outcomes
What a course leads to, what the child will be able to do, what happens after the exam.
These are intents to serve with genuinely useful pages, not a keyword list to sprinkle. A page that exists only to catch a phrase reads like it, and it will not hold a position.
What we deliver
Six things, all of them checkable.
- A site structured around real search intent, so every important question has somewhere to land
- A page for every genuine question a parent asks, answered directly rather than deferred to a phone call
- Structured data so search engines and AI assistants understand what you teach, at what level, and where
- Fast pages that work on a mid-range phone on an ordinary connection
- Content written for people first, checked by people who actually teach the subject
- Measurement on your own Search Console and GA4, so you can see what changed and when
How we work
Outcomes, on your property.
The analytics and Search Console properties are yours, not ours. You keep them if you stop working with us. We think an agency that holds your measurement hostage has told you something important about itself.
We answer questions on the page rather than making a visitor ring you to find out the basics. It feels counter-intuitive to give away the answer. In practice, the institute that answers is the one that gets remembered, cited and called.
We describe what we deliver rather than publishing our working method in detail. The judgement about what goes where is the part clients are paying for.
The honesty part
Three things we say before you sign, not after.
This takes months, not weeks
Indexing can improve quickly. Rankings, click-through rate and a steady flow of enquiries take months of consistent work. If you need enrolments this fortnight, search is the wrong instrument and we will tell you so.
We report the real numbers, including the flat ones
Some months move and some months do not. You will get the actual figures with the comparison window stated, not a dashboard arranged to look busy. When something we tried did not work, that goes in the report too.
We will tell you if it does not pay back
If your catchment is small, or search volume for your subject is negligible, this will not return what it costs. We would rather say that in the first conversation than take a retainer for a year and hope.
Proof
We did this to our own institute first.
Kwickprep is our own online education business, run by the same LLP. We rebuilt its site and measured the result, which is why we can publish the numbers at all.
43 of 43 indexed
Every URL submitted in the indexing sprint got into Google's index, and 31 pages that previously had zero impressions became visible.
211 to 1,507 impressions
Measured over the 8 days before the sprint against the 8 days after. Clicks over the same windows went from 3 to 33.
About 7% from AI assistants
Roughly 43 sessions in 28 days arrived from ChatGPT and Perplexity, a route that did not exist before the rebuild.
These are early-stage numbers on a small base, in the region of 100 to 150 clicks a month. It is a trajectory and a method, not a big-traffic story, and the full page says so plainly.
Questions
Common questions
How long does educational SEO take to work?
Months, not weeks. Indexing improvements can show within days once pages are genuinely worth indexing, but rankings, click-through rate and steady enquiries move over a period of months. Anyone promising results in two weeks is describing something other than search.
Do you guarantee first page rankings?
No. Nobody can, because nobody controls Google's ranking systems or an AI assistant's choice of citation. Any agency that guarantees a position is lying to you, and you should treat that promise as the reason not to hire them. What we commit to is the work, the measurement, and honest reporting of what the numbers do.
What is AEO and GEO?
AEO is Answer Engine Optimisation: being the answer itself, in featured snippets and voice results, rather than one blue link among ten. GEO is Generative Engine Optimisation: being cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews when they answer a question about your subject or your city.
Do we need a new website first?
Not always. If your existing site is reasonably fast, editable and structurally sound, we work with it. If it is a locked template you cannot add pages to, or it is slow on a mid-range phone, rebuilding is usually cheaper than fighting it. We tell you which case you are in before you spend anything.
Do you write the content?
Yes, and we prefer to write it with your teachers rather than around them. The pages that perform are the ones with real teaching knowledge in them. We handle structure, drafting and publishing; your faculty check that the subject matter is right.
How do we measure whether it worked?
From Google Search Console and GA4 on your own property, so you can open the same dashboards we do. We report indexed pages, impressions, clicks, click-through rate, average position and traffic from AI assistants, always with the comparison window stated. Here is how we report our own.
Does this work for a single-city coaching class?
Often yes, because local and near-me searches in education carry strong intent and less competition than national terms. But if your catchment is genuinely small and search volume for your subject is negligible, we will say so and suggest you spend the money elsewhere.
Find out if anyone can currently find you.
Send us your website. We will look at whether your pages are indexed, whether assistants can read them, and whether this is worth doing for your institute at all.
